Jennifer Lopez Is Launching Makeup with Inglot Cosmetics So You Can Get Her Signature Glow
After years of basking in Jennifer Lopez’s glow, the day we can actually replicate it is approaching: As the goddess of bronze is launching makeup with Inglot Cosmetics. Her limited-edition collection drops April 26. That’s in 21 days, for those of you who are counting. (We know we are.)
And just as you’d expect, J to tha L-O gave all she has to the collaboration, working closely on the brand on everything from the shade range (all 70 color products in the line were either created and hand-picked by the star) to the names of some of her bound-to-sell-out-in-seconds skus, such as a bronzer and highlighter she christened “Boogie Down Bronze” and “Livin’ the Highlight,” respectively.
Lopez also had a hand in the super-sultry campaign (above) — which served as the inspiration for the first palette that will be available for pre-sale on April 17 on inglotusa.com — as well as the yet-to-be-revealed packaging.
“The capsule collection we created with Inglot is filled with all my go-to products in my favorite colors. We have everything from mascara, lipsticks, eyelashes, blush, eye shadow and of course…bronzers,” said Lopez in a press release for the announcement.
Aside from color cosmetics, she is setting out to change the palette game with the creation of her Freedom System. The palette will allow her superfans to customize the shades they want to include from the product range. Inglot did the math and there are over 300,000 combinations possible. So while love might not cost a thing, you may just go broke creating palettes that emulate the star’s various makeup looks.
Says Lopez, “What I think is unique and exciting is our Freedom System Palette—which allows you to create your own personalized palette with the specific colors and products that you need. Now you no longer have to buy that 5-piece eyeshadow kit to get the one color you really want!”
