How the Glittery Makeup in Jem and the Holograms Was Created (And Removed)
When you make a live-action movie based on a cartoon girl group from the ‘80s, you can be pretty sure the makeup will involve more glitter than a unicorn sneeze. And the new Jem and the Holograms, out today, most certainly does. We asked makeup department head Mary Klimek how she created some of the looks—and more importantly, how she got them off.
